People’s Justice Project (PJP) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building Black power through grassroots organizing, advocacy, and research.
We’re launching a 7-month research program focused on policing, mass incarceration, and the criminal legal system in Columbus, Ohio. Participants will work alongside PJP organizers to investigate key issues, analyze policies, and develop a community resource that will live on our website—providing up-to-date information on policing and incarceration across Ohio.
Committment & Impact
This program will run for 7 months, requiring regular participation in research sessions, discussions, and strategy meetings. The work will culminate in a public-facing toolkit that will help inform and empower our communities.
